Background
unw was established in 1996 and practised from offices in Jesmond, Newcastle. In 2002 the firm became one of the first professional practices in the North East to convert to a Limited Liability Partnership and in 2003 moved to prestigious new premises at Citygate in the heart of Newcastle, within a ball's throw of Newcastle United Football Club.
We have grown into a strong regional firm that aims to deliver the best possible quality in each of our four chosen service areas: Audit and Assurance; Accounting Services and Outsourcing; Corporate and Personal Tax; Corporate Finance and Transaction Support.
Our informal, welcoming and professional approach has attracted excellent and experienced staff in all of these areas and helped us develop long-term relationships with clients.
Expertise
Modern practice requires immediate access to in-house experts and we have specialists in every aspect of our four service areas, many of whom, including all of the firm's seven partners, were previously with one of the "Big Four" accountancy practices.
We are expanding in all departments to meet client demand, and continue to provide first class service with a personal touch.
