Catherine Young Audit & Assurance Partner
Catherine is specifically responsible for co-ordinating the technical aspects of our audit services including staff training, technology and staff planning.
Catherine joined the unw team in 1998 from Reg Vardy PLC, where she was Head of Internal Audit and set up their internal audit department. Before this she was with the audit department of Price Waterhouse for 11 years, mostly as an audit manager. In this role she managed the provision of accounting, audit and reporting services to a variety of businesses. Like Simon, Catherine became a unw partner in December 2000.
Catherine is committed to the pursuit of organisational excellence. She'd like to transfer its principles to time outside of work too, so she can eventually manage to spend more time with family and friends. She remembers enjoying reading, music and exercise.
