Simon Richards Tax Partner
Simon specialises in advising family owned businesses and their owners on minimising the amount of their hard earned wealth which goes to the Exchequer. He moved to unw from Price Waterhouse in 1996, where he worked as a tax manager for eight years and was admitted as a unw partner in 2000. Wealth protection is an area in which Simon has expert knowledge, in particular capital tax planning, including inheritance and capital gains tax advice. He also has a great deal of experience in advising foreign nationals who might have an exposure to UK taxes.
Simon has no time for outside interests. His every waking hour is focussed on thinking up ways of helping his clients legitimately minimise their tax liabilities. Consequently he is very dull and boring and best avoided - unless you're trying to save tax. Simon is often to be found on his own at social events.
