Omnis VAT Consultancy
unw has a longstanding relationship with Omnis VAT Consultancy, (until recently part of The TACS Partnership), for specialist advice on VAT and Customs Duties. Their consultants are former senior officers with Customs and Excise and have a wealth of experience in advising on all areas of indirect tax, including negotiating special arrangements with Customs and presenting cases before the VAT and Duties Tribunals.
Nigel Gibbon (Omnis Director of VAT & Customs Appeals) has conducted more cases before the VAT & Duties Tribunal than any other advocate in the UK.
The International Accounting Group - TIAG
unw is a founder member of TIAG, a worldwide association of independent accountants, formed last year out of the membership of BR International with whom unw was previously associated. Through TIAG unw has access to similar firms of accountants in some 30 countries and this number is expected to increase in the near future
TAG Law
An unusual feature of TIAG is that it has a well established sister network of high quality law firms called TAG Law, through which unw has access to legal services in over 70 countries.
