Charity Group Briefing: Spring Budget 2017 – Impact on Charities
Date: Wednesday 22nd March 2017
Time: 4pm for 4.30pm start / closing at 5.30pm
Location: UNW LLP, Citygate, St James’ Boulevard, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4JE
During his 2016 Autumn Statement the Chancellor Philip Hammond announced a significant rejig of the fiscal year. From 2017 there will be just the one annual fiscal event, an Autumn Budget, followed by a Spring Statement, confined to responding to the latest report of the Office for Budget Responsibility.
On 8th March 2017, the Chancellor will deliver the “last” Spring Budget, followed by the newly named Autumn Budget later in the year.
We are delighted to invite you to our first charity group briefing of the year on Wednesday 22nd March 2017 where, in the wake of the Budget, Charles Linaker and Simon McInally from UNW’s tax department will deliver an update on some of the key announcements and discuss the potential impact they may have on the charity and not for profit sector.
They will also cover other topical tax issues in relation to charities.
