We lead with an update from the Charity Commission regarding changes to fundraising legislation and reporting that have been introduced to help charities to demonstrate their commitment to protecting donors and the public from poor fundraising practices.

We also reflect on the talking points from our recent ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ charity briefing, where guest speaker Louise Hunter, Director of Corporate Affairs at Northumbrian Water, highlighted the importance of both charities and corporates utilising each other’s attributes to ensure a mutually beneficial commercial partnership.
