Can I be a client just for payroll services?

Yes. We have a number of clients with in-house accounting teams who still prefer to use our team for payroll alone.

unw's payroll bureau is designed to take care of the day to day running of the payroll function. As a BACS approved bureau we can also arrange for the direct transfer of client's staff salaries into their bank accounts through BACS processing.

Our payroll processing service includes:

• Overtime, bonus and commission payments
• Pensions
• Holiday pay
• Payment and reclaim of working family and disabled persons tax credits
• Collection and payment of student loans
• Statutory maternity and sick pay
• Attachment of earnings orders
• Payslips, payroll summaries and departmental reports
• Payment by BACS
• Completion of year end Inland Revenue returns
• National Insurance Contributions

We provide the net pay for each employee along with individual payslips. We advise you how much to pay to the Inland Revenue for PAYE and NIC and can arrange payment directly.

When you have new starters or leavers we will deal with the necessary paperwork. At the tax year-end our team will provide you with the year-end returns required by the Inland Revenue. We also offer any combination of regular summaries and reports.
