The Social Investment Business is the largest social investor in the UK. Their mission is to offer support and funding to the Third Sector to enable it to do more of what it does best – support people and communities most in need. They help the Sector prosper through better access to finance, business support and long term strategic thinking.
We are delighted that Sharon O’Brien, Business Development Advisor, of The Social Investment Business has agreed to be our guest speaker at our first event of 2010. She is the first point of contact for organisations, charity groups and commissioners and will outline what help is available and how to access it. There will be an opportunity to put questions to Sharon during and after the event.
