As a finale to our series of briefings for 2010, we have invited Gareth Kane of Terra Infirma to be our guest speaker at the briefing on Thursday 2 December and his chosen topic is "Green is Good : Sustainable Business in the Third Sector".
Gareth, green business expert and author of the Three Secrets of Green Business, will give a short, provocative talk on why and how the third sector should respond to the sustainability challenge. Gareth has worked with many organisations to improve their environmental performance and was listed as a "Rising Star, Future Leader" by the Journal newspaper in 2008 for his work on sustainability. His company, Terra Infirma Limited, was recently singled out by Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman MP as a leading business in this field.
