Senior Appointment at unw
unw is delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Morris as partner in the firm’s Audit and Assurance Department. This will further strengthen the expertise within the team as unw’s client base continues to grow. Recent client wins at unw include Mill Garages, Ramside Hotel Group, Cels Group, Bastion Security and Codeworks.
Previously with Deloitte, where he lead their Entrepreneurial Business practice for the last 4 years, Michael is recognised as a leading expert in the provision of advice to privately owned limited companies and the legal sector.
Michael takes up his position on Monday 5 October and is looking forward to joining the unw team and says: “The opportunity to join unw was immediately attractive to me. The firm’s focus on mid-tier organisations based in the North East and emphasis upon providing expert advice within a competitive pricing structure combine to produce a formula that I know will work. unw is now recognised within the market place as a leader in this regard and I am looking forward to the challenge of maintaining the recent momentum they have achieved”
In welcoming Michael to the team, Andrew Wilson commented: “Michael’s experience and expertise readily complement our existing skill set and he will be a great addition to our team.
His passion for Iron Man challenges, triathlons and marathons is well known and I will be keeping a close eye on his training and offering up the occasional word of encouragement but participating no further!”
