MEET THE TEAM

Academies

At UNW, we understand that the education sector is heavily regulated, and we are best placed to act for the accounting and advisory needs of academies.

We have worked in the sector and acted for academies since 2012, and our highly skilled team have developed a wide range of services specifically tailored to your needs. Taking a proactive and partner-led approach, the services we offer include undertaking external audit of financial statements, assistance with preparation of the financial statements, as well as the audit of the Teachers pension End of Year Certificates.

Our team also offers assistance with preparation and audit of the Academies Accounts Return, and provides internal assurance. We further provide assistance with bookkeeping and management reporting, and offer ad hoc advice on matters of financial governance.

Our experience in the sector, linked to our extensive charity expertise allows us to guide Trusts through the legislative framework and to assist management and boards of Trusts with meeting their extensive governance and reporting responsibilities. We take a collaborative approach and are knowledgeable on the issues you face, and can help to provide both timely and effective support.
