10th June 2021

Held on Thursday 10th June 2021, this webinar was delivered by UNW’s specialist team of Lee Muter, Employment Taxes Partner, and Paul Tucker, Employment Taxes Senior Manager. They were joined by guest speaker Kate Upcraft, Director at Kate Upcraft Consultancy.

Lee and Paul covered a variety of topics of importance to employers, including issues that have arisen from the 2020/21 tax year regarding company cars, private fuel, and working from home. On top of this, they discussed IR35 and the employment status update; restructuring and termination payments; and also looked ahead to the future – including HMRC compliance reviews.

Kate offered her insight into compliance challenges in conjunction with the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme, as well as the key changes to claims every month since March 2021 – and whether this will continue until the furlough scheme ends.

If you would like more information about any of the topics discussed during the webinar, please contact either Lee Muter at leemuter@unw.co.uk, or Paul Tucker at paultucker@unw.co.uk
